Why have parking bays on the right of the bus lane...you have to cross the bus lane to get into them. This is how my wife received a fine....really unhappy with the council. Time to boot them out!

I got a charge for mistakenly driving up the Hope St one whilst taking my daughter home after a concert in Glasgow at 11pm on a Thurs night.

my stepdad came to see me and picked me up from work at FIVE IN THE MORNING... We didn't see a single bus the whole time but he was hit with £120+ for bus lane fines when it clearly didn't affect the running of the buses.

Sittting in tailbacks at junctions whilst a bus lane lies empty is nonsense ,these lanes/cameras cause congestion ,whilst cash for the councils coffers comes flowing in from the driver who's unaware of the trap that've been set

I have been in correspondence with Galsgow City Council disputing a charge notice because I believe the signage is inadequate

clearly a fund-generating strategy by the council, not a proper application of the spirit of the law

Not a pleasure to drive into Glasgow and really crazy changing NM Place to a bus lane. I was caught out in Stockwell St coming out of the car park. Annoyed that I paid up as there has been lots of complaints about that one too. Shame on you GCCouncil..

Disgusted by the way Glasgow city council went about making this a buslane and trapping unsuspecting drivers.

Whilst driving in any city centre one has to be practicing defensive driving to avoid accidents they need to find a way to mark bus lanes more clearly, or it it suiting the council to not bother, cash wise of course

I support bus lanes and understand the benefits of them. However Glasgow City Council appear to show little interest in ensuring drivers are aware of the location or times of operation of bus lanes.
