Dont destroy businesses in beautiful Altea, use common sense.

Es una verguenza. Al final con el tiempo ,conseguirán que Altea, sea un pueblo fantasma. Hay que estar más con el pueblo y NO contra el pueblo. Demasiados enchufados e incompetentes ocupando puestos de trabajo.

Ridiculous state of affairs causing honest hardworking businesses to lose custom! Not great for the economy really!

The terraces are an integral part of the charm of Altea Old Town. Also Spain needs to support local businesses for the greater prosperity of the country not limit them.x

Me gusta Altea porque tiene terrazas donde puedo sentar, relaxar e beber. Altea necesita sus terrazas!

I suport a vital and Living town of Altea

It's important that everyone who loves Altea speaks up now. If the terraces are lost, this will significantly and inherently change Altea and not in a positive way!

I can't help but think that for the short amount of time that Altea will be at its fullest - which is needed for the majority of the year when it is a lot quieter - that a 'law' such as this one is insulting at least, and down right problematic to the tourism culture that Altea depends on at most. Firstly, if people cannot sit outside as much now then why are they bothering to eat and drink 'al fresco' in the first place? They may as well be back home in their colder countries! Secondly, to remove the visual ambience and the native and inviting "it just happens to be this way" aesthetic that IS Altea, runs a very high risk of confusing those who already know Altea and potentially under-impressing those who don't! A terrible example of short term gain (?) for long term problemas y más!

Already helps to encourage a sense of community as well as for tourists. This is a retrograde step. Shame on the council

The beauty of Altea Old Town is the people all sitting outside enjoying each others company. To change that will certainly loose the unique character that attracts both tourists and locals to the town.

I neve sit inside when I go to Altea for a meal or drink only if it's raining

The terraces of tables with customers sitting chatting and flowers blooming are what gives Altea its character. It's part of the reasons why people come to see the town.

I want to be able to sit when i want someting to drink. There are already not enough places. And now it is getting more difficult to find a place.
