The Lune Valley without a bus service will make it very difficult for pensioners and young people. Dad or Mum can't drive them everywhere!

Cutting these services will serve only to further isolate the people in rural communities.

In these times of austerity the cutting back of some public services are inevitable such as NHS, bus services, people's wages even. However these cuts do not affect the rich, they are able to afford private healthcare, drive or are driven around in luxury cars or indeed own a nice car themselves and for the ordinary people who are the so called the back bone of Britain are faced at loosing vital services such as bus services. The MPs up and down the country from which ever party they are representatives of must call on the current government to do much more to help the real people of this country!

The bus sevices are vital for all not everyone has a car and if these services are stop what would happen to the community who really needs these services. These services are needed more in isolated areas so why get rid of the bus services it does'nt make sence

The bus services are vital for all but especially the young and older members of the community who rely on them for their freedom. Not everyone has access to a car!

These changes to the bus services will make people in Halton isolated. These services are vital and must continue.

In Whittington we are isolated and as there is only one taxi in Kirkby Lonsdale we will have to curtail our visits to Kirkbly and Lancaster in the evenings and at on a Sunday.

I understand cuts are required but as this is a vital requirement for workers who without being able to get there and ultimately then not contributing to being able to pay council tax that would fund you in the 1st place then you will be cutting your nose off to spite your face.

We live in a rural area where wages are low and house prices are high, many people rely on public transport to travel to work as they cannot afford the cost of running a car. The proposed curtailment of services will be disastrous for many indviduals and families.

this is just another example of governments inability to protect what is required for outlying/rural areas and flying in the face of any transport policy, actually one doesn't exist, as an alternative to using your own car which you will now have to do

Bus services are lifeline to outlying districts especially for the elderly and poor (including young jobseekers). There are also benefits to others from reduced road use and less pollution if people can be encouraged to use public transport.
