Burlingame Quiet Zone -- NO TRAIN HORNS AT NIGHT

The train horns were bad before electrification, they are ridiculous now. This has seriously degraded my enjoyment of my home and community.

The train horns are the awful part of Burlingame. Also, this is dangerous for our health and slowly kills us

I think the barriers make enough noise to alert animals, pedestrians and cars.

No need for loud horns at nights

We went through this once before the train sounds being too bad now with the new electric trains. It's happening again the early morning times are the worst.

I live about two short blocks away from the tracks in Burlingame. The train horn is so loud and is sounded so many times,it wakes me up multiple times on most nights. Although I am hot in summer, I cannot open my windows at night beyond a small crack for airflow. This is because the sound of the train horn is even louder. For reasons I do not understand, since I thought the last train comes through at midnight, the train horn can be heard many nights at 3 am. This is ridiculous noise pollution. This is horrible.

Yes I have experiencing similar issues and it made me difficult to sleep

I am hoping that the trains can be restricted to stop at a decent hour

Caltrain horns are automated and reasonable in my opinion. Freight trains are unregulated, and the problem.

Cal Trains also leaning on their horns at nighttime. I can hear the train coming from literally a mile away with the horn blowing the whole distance. People are in bed sleeping at 10:30 pm
