This is to create awareness for teens/children who are being bullied in the Peel area. Due to recent accounts and situations, I have created this petition to send to the Peel District Board so that the victims of bullying can be heard! I recently came across a young female who is being bullied on a weekly basis's by a crowd of teens from her school. She has spoken with the councillors and principals at school but nothing efficient is happening from them. Her father has spoken with the Peel Board and they have advised him to enroll his daughter into Home Schooling or switch her high school. THIS IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH. She is not the problem here, she is the victim. The bullies need to change and have sufficient amount of punishment for their actions. It is no longer bullying for this girl, it has become physical, emotional & mental abuse. IT IS WRONG. Most schools have a ZERO tolerance for bullying so they say, but those are just words, there actions do not back up this phrase. So let's stand up for those who are being bullied and force Peel Board to take a closer look at this on going problem.
The stories shared in the comments prove that the administration is failing our children. Email your school board representative today to demand they address these specific cases of abuse rather than telling victims to leave. Post this link on Facebook to ensure the Peel District Board knows we are watching their next move.

This is ridiculous. Why should the kid who gets bullied have to leave their school? The board needs to actually do something besides telling kids to just go home. Totally unacceptable.

Zero tolerance means nothing at PDSB. My son went thru the same thing and they just brushed it off. FIX THIS.
