The process has begun with Los Angeles County to add an enclosed dog park to La Mirada Regional Park. The exact location within the park has yet to be determined, and there are still formalities to go through, but we were told by an LA County Deputy Supervisor that collecting signatures will help the cause.
Please sign this petition and share with any and all dog lovers. With no designated dog parks in the immediate area, this would be a welcomed addition to the community - not only for La Mirada, but for our neighboring cities as well!

LA County bureaucrats are dragging their feet on this project while our dogs suffer with nowhere to run. They think this will just blow over if they stay silent so we need to keep turning up the pressure until they finally approve this park.

A La Mirada dog park is very needed and where I would like some of my tax dollars to go!
With housing becoming more condo and apartment style, we need a space to take our pups where they can run like the wind and socialize with other dogs and people.
That’s an awesome plan. Wouldn’t have to drive many miles to take our pet to a dog park.
