Build Banwell's Bypass

Much needed to solve this nightmare of a bottleneck for traffic which is very dangerous for the residents

I live on West street and i’m scared to walk down the pavement. road so busy and cars use it like a constant race track. even at night it never calms down. The air quality is also a massive worry. Lorries and huge tractors have no other route and it’s so dangerous

We definately need this in Banwell. The traffic seems to increase on a weekly basis.

This is a must. Air pollution School kids at the bus stop and at the school. Speeding cars People be knocked over Walls being knock over Houses being driven into. Lorry’s driving on the pavements 40 mins to get though the narrows Houses already been built To name a few reasons why we must finally have a village life.

Lived here for 11.5 years and the traffic has got worse and worse. Our front wall was hit just before Christmas and a large section collapsed. We are still awaiting insurance to pay out. Then, two weeks ago a lorry mounted the pavement to get passed idylling traffic and it crashed in to our stone gate post and it crumbled away. My children walk this route to school bus everyday, god forbid anyone hit them. I also worry about the traffic fumes for all the residents on West Stree and Nightcott Road. The traffic jams multiple times a day means we can’t open windows and it puts me off using the garden. Our youngest has the respiratory disease Cystic Fibrosis. All the new housing in the area means traffic is building more and more. We need this bypass and the traffic calming through the village now before something dreadful happens to another pedestrian. (Runner hit last month by van mounting pavement in Banwell).

Gets worse each day. Procrastination!!!

Iv been hit by wing mirrors on lorries while walking Fed up trying to use the zebra crossing by the coop as traffic is known to go up to 50 in a 30 mile zone

The whole area needs this, not just Banwell. It cannot continue with this block to its economy and the wellbeing of its people.

Needed

There have been many bypasses constructed with much less justification, Banwell really needs one. The pollution levels is a good point, along West Street and Castle Hill especially. Not to mentioned emergency access for a much wider area when the hill becomes jammed up.

Long,long overdue, Banwell so needs this bypass!!

Banwell needs this to preserve its roads and buildings after all the main road is a conservation area so let’s conserve it!!

The traffic problems in the bottle neck are only going to get worse with the increase in housing in this area. The pollution and frustration for the residents in Banwell must be unbearable.

We definitely need a bypass ASAP

This is long overdue and will bring benefits to the village in many ways. Please vote for it, we need it!

No excuses just do it!

We need this bypass ASAP! Years overdue with the amount of accidents and trouble the traffic situation has caused.
