Build Banwell's Bypass

This morning I joined the que in the village and it took me 35 minutes to drive to the car park opposite the school. No traffic, it's a 2 minute drive!

Fed up of talking get on with it.its getting a nightmare

Journeys through Banwell are slow, stressful and often dangerous . It must be worse for residents of the village .

This is badly needed to improve pedestrian, bicycle and road vehicle safety in Banwell and the surrounding area.

We need this a major road (A371) passing through a single lane road in the middle of a village can’t be right.

This is needed urgently to stop the many lorry incidents and to reduce the high levels of pollution for residents!!!!

We all need this this will stop lots of lorry going from Thatcher's going in to Churchill and bring better links for all

Long overdue!

I lived on west street for 20 years and traffic is getting heavier every year.

We live on the main road. The fumes are terrible and traffic is backed up just as children are walking to school, so they are breathing it all in. Our house shakes every time a lorry goes past. Something has to be done.

We need a by-pass as soon as possible. It is needed more than ever.

The sooner, the better!

Build the bypass. So much traffic and pollution right next to a primary school. Not good

For goodness sake do it and do it soon. I love Banwell, but the constant traffic and traffic noise make living on West Street miserable.

I first signed sixty years ago! It’s gone on far too long!

After living in Banwell for the last 30 years there is absolutely no doubt we need a bypass!

This bypass is very much needed to allow access to supermarkets & M5 without sitting in traffic in Banwell for unnecessary hours!

Getting through Banwell is hideous especially during peak times. And there are no other nearby routes that can be used easily. It can take an hour to do a few miles to get through the log jam. A bypass would improve this for commuters and residents alike.
