Petition for a Traffic Light at the intersection of Billy Howey Rd. & New Town Rd in Union County, NC

a very dangerous intersection with hilly roads and limited visibility. a light is much needed.

i work Waxhaw and think this could really help

I avoid this intersection but when I don't I am always reminded why I do.

There are too many unnecessary accident at this location. It should not take a death in order to save lives!

We have lived her for almost 9 years and have seen quite a few accidents along with a large amount of near-misses. It's not a safe intersection and something should be done about it.

this is a horrible intersection. my husband was t-boned there and in the 12 years we have lived right down the road, we have seen many many accidents. does someone have to die first?

39+ accidents in 5 years?! There should've already been a traffic signal there! How many more accidents is it going to take for them to finally put a traffic signal there?!

Sure hope the DOT isn't waiting for a certain number of deaths before taking action...this is one of the more dangerous intersections in Union County
