Build a secondary school for the parish of North petherton

I am very concerned that the only school option for North Petherton is Robert Blake. I believe there should be more than one option and with the current level of building in the area I think a new secondary school should be provided.

I am concerned about the lack of secondary schools in my catchment area of Stockmoor/North Petherton. Please build Queenswood school in our catchment.

As a resident of Wilstock village and parent of two primary aged children; it is alarming to me that all of these houses have been built with NO planning ahead for how secondary school places are going to be sensibly and suitably allocated. There needs to be long term planning not just short term facade to sell houses to new families with young children.

A secondary school in the North Petherton, Stockmoor and Wilstock area would be massively welcome. As West Bridgwater is outside our catchment area, across Bridgewater rush hour traffic and they already have several secondary schools on that side of town I am unsure how this is supposed to serve our area.

I have two children, one at north Petherton primary and one yet to start. I feel by the time it comes to them starting secondary school places at Robert Blake will be extremely limited and I would not be happy them walking there either. North Petherton desperately needs a secondary school even more so with the new developments

With the town forever growing we need our own secondary school

Better idea to build this side than 'Queenswood' school suggested by Haygrove Academy Trust ( who had an opportunity for a new build some years ago) why the change. There are schools and villages on the south side of Bridgwater that would definately benefit. Transport into the town centre would be cut and especially on the north side of Bridgwater. Big shake up needed with parent representation on board!!!!!!

We definitely need a secondary school. Heathfield, an outstanding school is over subscribed and Robert Blake a good school is a fair distant aware. We need a secondary school desperately in between these two schools!

I'm really concerned about the lack of a secondary school in this area, especially when so many new houses are being built all around us.

North Petherton is the obvious place for the location of the proposed Queenswood School. All our local primary schools are full right now, whilst the lack of adequate secondary school provision is a constant topic of conversation at the school gate.

We need a secondary school to support the north petherton area.

There is desperate need of greater secondary provision for North Petherton/Stockmoor and the other nearby villages. New houses are great, new houses also mean new families, and it is only right that any new school be placed to service the expanding population around this area.

It's not safe or practical for children to travel across Bridgwater at rush hour. With increasing housing developments we desperately need a secondary school on the north Petherton side of town.

With the huge number of new houses going up in wilstock, stockmoor and now north petherton/north Newton, the primary school is/will be bursting at the seams and we need another secondary school this side of Bridgwater to take the kids from north petherton, north Newton and Somerset bridge. Surely this makes more sense rather than another school right next to an existing school. Plus this would resolve the problem of our kids having to walk 3 miles alongside a busy, narrow road to Blake and home again.

I think this area needs a school for the growing comunity.

It is vital that this area receives adequate secondary provision. It is frankly irresponsible that thousands of houses have been built/approved between Taunton and Bridgwater, with no corresponding secondary school planned. Where are all of these families meant to send their children to school? It is now nigh on impossible to get children from North Petherton or Stockmoor into Taunton schools, and Bridgwater schools are filling up too. There is no transport provision to get children to Robert Blake anymore, and yet the houses keep coming. This has been an issue for years and the squeeze is only getting worse. Please do the responsible thing and give us a secondary school in North Petherton!

Schools are critical for a community, for growth in local housing to be sustainable adequate schools at both primary and secondary levels is essential.

The is not adiqute provisions at this end of town/ north petherton. We have had massive of homes go in. And many more to go. The primary schools have doubled in size. But where are they meant Togo when they hit secondary school age. As what's here is not enough. The other end of taunton had also had massive of homes go in. With no secondary school in the middle. Seems a planning over site.

Definitely need a new school in bridgwater
