Build a Light Rail STOP in Mitchell Now

The stop would be a great idea and encourage traffic to local businesses in the area.

Of course there should be a stop at Mitchell. There are businesses there and customers that require their services.

What stupid head came up with the idea of no stops at Mitchell, (geesh!)

Light rail should definitely stop at Mitchell.

How ridiculous that we have to resort to a petition to achieve this. It’s just commonsense that there is a stop at Mitchell!

If you want people to use the light rail then stopping at Mitchell as a major Northside centre only makes sense, and supports our local business at the same time.

A light rail stop in Mitchell is crucial for small businesses in this area. It makes no sense to bypass Mitchell.

I currently drive a short distance to use a number of businesses in this area. The increased retail in Mitchell has especially been a highlight for me as Gungahlin town centre continues to fail as a viable option for small business. To continue this growth better transport options are required that support the changing ACT employment profile I would also note that Auspost forces all Gungahlin residents to collect parcels from mitchell, disadvantaging those without access to a car

I work in Mitchell and had hoped to use the light rail to get too and from work.

Two stops for Mitchell were on the original Plan!! Please show support for businesses in Mitchell and put them back on the Plan!!

Help our business grow please allow rail stations in mitchell

This is a wasted opportunity not to get this right first up. I don't understand how it could have been overlooked not to include a major industrial area, where thousands of people work, where thousands more drop cars for repair and go to work (for example). This would add so much value to our area, and so much value to the light rail itself. People can come from anywhere to Mitchell, and be able to take a tram to work, and back again in the evening. Please build a stop in Mitchell as part of this initial construction. Richard.

Can't believe these businesses would be left out in the cold. Our playgroup wanted to go to the kids play centre, but as not all parents drive we had to go elsewhere so they could get there by bus. So we've already encountered issues getting there even before the tram lines are finished.
