True. It should be applicable for babies born on 2016 onwards. A good implementation after marking 50 yrs of independence.

Since u launch this year, shouldn't it apply to 2016 babies? Why 24th? So how about those who was born 23march? You should give to all 2016 babies!!!!!

I had just given birth on 5 Feb 2016. The new budget 2016 regarding CDA should also be extended to us.

My baby was born on 8th Jan. PLEASE EXTEND TO ALL BABIES BORN FROM 1ST JAN 2016! NOT ONLY FROM 24TH MARCH ONWARDS!

I strongly believes that the babies born from the 1st Jan 2016 till 23rd March 2016 makes no difference from those babies that will be born from 24th March 2016 onwards.
The point is 'why is it necessary to differentiate them apart' since this privilege is to be given to the babies in 2016. Let us Singaporeans use such privileges to get by high living cost as we are moving towards a more expensive environment locally.

True enough.. since we had miss the SG50 and since this new financial announcement should include January born too.. Isn't January consider part of 2016 year?

It is not fair!! There are only 8000 plus babies born since Jan 2016, why can't government extended to all 2016 babies.

My baby birthdate is 8 March. this should be back dated to 1 Jan 2016.

Its not fair just to set a date in march. I just give birth to my 3rd child less than a month ago and i am not entitle.
