Support package to be backdated to 1 jan 2016 just like sg50 package. It isnt fair for mummies who went through pain for deliveries in 2016, and got nothing.

Since this is for budget 2016, please reconsider the start date to be 1 Jan 2016 instead of 24 March 2016. It will be good if this policy can benefit those baby born from 1 Jan 2016 onward. Thanks

Since it is Budget 2016, it should be given benefits to those born in 2016 from Jan onwards, to be fair.

Budget 2016 should start from Jan 2016. Unless Budget 2016 has fine print at bottom. My baby was born 3rd of March 2016.

My baby borned on 9 March, and is not entitled to this. Why is it only 24 March onwards?

Why start today not first Jan? This is budget for Y2016, it should start from Jan.

Agree that govt should allow 1 Jan 2016 babies to claim for the $3k CDA.

Should have back date to 1st Jan 2016, since is 2016 budget it should have start from 1st Jan 2016 instead of 24th March, if not its so unfair for babies that are born from 1st Jan to 24th March, since babie are all Singaporean don't make them feel so different and unfair feeling to parent whose babies are born on 1st Jan 2016

This is so unfair for those who just deliver.

Strongly agreed. Budget 2016 should be from 1st Jan 2016 to be fair and not from today. How about those people who don't enjoy SG50 benefits and yet now budget 2016 also don't enjoy. It's just not fair.

I just gave birth in Feb 2016. Our babies don't benefit from Sg50 and we can't gain anything from budget2016?

The budget commencement date was so weird! Is there a mistake made by the minister on the start date?
