This is an unfair implementation for those who gave birth earlier than 24 March 2016.
Hope that government will implement from 1 Jan 2016 onward which is more justifiable to help our fellow singaporean.

The cda grant should be available to all babies born from 1 jan 2016. Same policy to back date like last year SG50

Starting from 24 March is a very weird date. SG50 baby bonus was for all babies born in 2015, shouldn't this be for all babies born in 2016? Babies born from 1 Jan 2016 to 23 March 2016 get no 'privileges'.

I've a Jan baby and she is my 4th baby. We have already miss out on the $600 top up for SG50 babies & now we are been penalised for giving birth before 24th Mar?! $3k is a considerable sum for us. Please back date.

Yes i would appreciate if this grant is extended to babies born from 1 jan 2016.
I jus delivered my baby on 23 march 2016 and feel it wil be unfair to mummys who delivered earlier than the effect date of 24 march 2016.

As it is a 2016 budget, all babies born in 2016 should be given the benefit as well.

My boy lose out on the sg50 $600 CDA top up and now this $3000 too. Aint those born from Jan - 23Mar singapore babies too? Why must they be penalised by the budget speech which is on 24 Mar? If so next time can u just arrange your budget speech to 1 Jan so that there wont be this kind of unfairness again.

The budget should start from Jan since is for 2016. This $3k should apply to all babies for 2016. Is not easy for us mummies and the babies. Is an additional bonus for us.
