TVET diplomas still continue only the S4 diplomas are phasing out and if you did S4 Diploma you only need 1 year for Btech.

This is a very important petition, I am one of the diploma students and I need to further my studies and I need a chance to that and so does many other students like me.
This is a serious issue that the South African students are facing and this issue needs to be dealt with.
An extension of the Btech studies is a need, it will benefit South African students as well as South African economy.

Btech is the only form of degree that people who did N. Dip can get a degree.

I'm against this proposal. Rather we first phase out the diploma programs - which feeds to the Btech, then provide students who have these diplomas a three year window to complete their Btechs then end the program.

There are many Ndip graduates who still wanna pursue diploma to advance to degree and Btech is they only choice.

This is ridiculous, we have students still holding into their NDip and struggling to find employment. But the government isn't helping so what's gonna happen to them once the change over is implemented and they cant futher their studies.

We need btech qualification phase out date to be extended because some of us are still busy with our btech studies, as we are enrolled as part time students.

Students who are already in the system must be assisted and afforded fair time for them to be able complete atleast their Btech.

As much as it's not equal to the BSC but in other institutions it served the same purpose and the new qualification seems more diluted
