You wouldn't have a Univeristy without students, listen to them. Good luck nursing students!

It would be wonderful to see some improvement revolving the video conferencing and exam schedules. Although this is a fantastic program, there is definite room for more communication between the college and University.

I agree with this petition and I am in support of it. The University of Ottawa Nursing program in collaboration with Algonquin college is a wonderful program. It would be great to see improvements in terms of communication in the office between the college and the university. When I have questions or need to speak with someone regarding documents or information, I am unable to access a person at the Algonquin campus who can speak for the University of Ottawa. This is an inconvenience. In addition, it would be great if the books would be able to arrive sooner for the University of Ottawa students. Also, it would be beneficial if exams would be able to be scheduled in a timely manner. For example, two exams, back to back is unrealistic for studying. Thank you for your understanding.

Upon accepting my offer to this program, myself and many other students have taken notice of the disjointed communication between the college and the university.
The courses we take through Video Conference can be viewed as a disadvantage. Many students opt out of Video Conference electives by selecting online courses or even waiting until the summer to take their elective at the Ottawa campus. I believe this inconvenience expresses the disinterest Pembroke students have in Video Conference courses and maybe even a waste of resources. Many courses that the BSCN program offers through video conference can be taught by professors here at Algonquin, whom are very qualified to do so.

We are going too far with technology relating to students being able to gain the necessary attributes from live student facing teaching techniques. Go back to the old system that most of todays leaders grew up with!

These students are our future. Let's give them the attention they deserve in the classroom. Human interaction is a very important component to learning. If this is the route that Institutions are going then there should be a reduction in tuition at the very least.
