Illinois Wesleyan Students,

My name is Bryson Connor, and I am submitting myself to be considered for the position of Student Senate President. As a junior senator, I have been in Senate for the past two years, and have held Financial Advisory board positions twice. Additionally, I am a Titan Ambassador for the Admissions Department, the Student Assistant for the International and Global Studies Department, and one of the co-presidents for IWU Model United Nations.

As Student Senate President, I would work to empower campus RSOs by making the FAB funding process more straightforward and uplifting cultural RSOs through more diversity-oriented events. Another primary goal would be to improve campus mental health. There are many amazing ways to do this, but I would focus heavily on bringing our widespread support groups back to campus, increasing bias incident transparency, and providing Senate-run town halls for all students on campus to promote their concerns.

Another person who I believe greatly shares my goals for this campus is Nora Robinson. She and I are hoping to run together as President and Vice President. She is intelligent, capable, eloquent, and most of all she is passionate about working for this campus. Please also considering supporting her nomination as well.
