Membership # 39907 I was shocked to hear of Beth's dismissal. Under her leadership the BT Conservancy has advanced in so many ways. I feel more transparency is required.

I would appreciate having a full and detailed explanation for the termination of Beth Gilhespy's termination as CEO of the BTA. Beth has been an excellent ambassador for the BTA and we are deeply distressed at this recent notification.

I would like to know why Beth was dismissed. From my point of view she had done an outstanding job. Members and donors have a right to know why the board has taken this action.

I have read the letter from the Chair of the Board and feel very strongly that the Board owes the 10,000 members a much better explanation. One way to achieve this will be to have a public meeting. Gordon N Member # 36849

Ron Savage 34668 I sign this petition as a protest. I protest that our board has terminated a wonderful CEO whom all of us at the grassroots of the organization has fallen in love with. The board of an organization and the CEO have to work together to create a successful future. In this case, our board have decided that they cannot work alongside Beth to create that future. I protest that along with others I am hurting. We will miss Beth’s dedication as our leader, her love of the Escarpment, her burning desire to preserve the “Rock.” I, her staff and fellow hikers will miss Beth’s friendliness and her comradery. I also sign this petition as a protest to where this appeal is taking us. Our organization has suffered a deep wound, and we need healing. Beth would not want any of us to cancel our membership, resign our positions or lose our desire to protect and preserve the Escarpment.
