The school board finally folded and approved our graduation parade. We forced them to listen and now the class of 2020 gets the celebration we earned. Keep watching them because we know they would have robbed us of this moment if we stayed quiet.

The seniors of BCHS are very interested in turning our virtual ceremony into a graduation parade. Please sign this petition to support the class of 2020’s ceremony.

We just hit 250 signatures and the school board still refuses to acknowledge us. They think we will just roll over and accept a screen instead of a real celebration but they are dead wrong.

Why not have the ceremony on the football field? The kids could stay 6 ft apart on the field and immediate family only in the stands spaced apart. Non immediate family could park on elm street and watch from their cars.

I 100% agree with this. The seniors have given their all, but without a proper graduation to commemorate their work, they don’t have the satisfaction of knowing what they worked for. As long as the participants still social distance themselves, this would be great.

I’ve seen some of these seniors when they were coming into McDonald’s for they’re first jobs. They deserve something more than a virtual graduation for working so hard

I have waited my daughters whole life to experience this and to not be able to see her walk and receive a diploma is heartbreaking. The students are crushed and feel like they have been robbed of enough. I think the should still be given a graduation

The seniors at Brownstown are my friends! I hate that they can only be recognized online. They deserve more than that. A graduation parade would be excellent!

I believe these kids should have somewhat of a real graduation. A virtual one is not the answer at all . Their prom has already been taken away let’s not take away the one thing they all look forward to and should be able to do!

They deserve something they have had so much taken from them with all this crazy stuff.
