The US Postal Service has proposed closing the post office in historic Brownsburg, Virginia. The Post Office is the heart of our small community. The residents, visitors and fans of Brownsburg urge the Postal Service to keep our Post Office open.
We have an opportuntity to convince USPS to keep the Post Office open by submitting comments between now and October 16, 2011.

Seeing this level of support for our post office is overwhelming when the days feel long and the odds remain against us. It is exhausting work to fight for the heart of this town but your backing keeps me moving forward.

PLEASE DONT CLOSE IT!! Its been there forever and we rely on it every day. Bad idea.
Brownsburg wont be the same without it. Where are we supposed to go for stamps and mailing packages? This is ridiculous.

This post office is how the whole town stays connected. dont let big government take away our local services just because they want to cut costs.
