I am the mother of a girl who defines herself "trans" (sudden onset). I am a physician. I live in Italy and I want to support your studies.

We need to support our children in the best way possiible, and to affirm young children believing they are transgender and giving them life altering medication and surgeries before getting proper Mental evaluations is child abuse.

The trans agenda is totalitarian at its core. Free speech is a constitutional right & the fact that people are caving to their violent threats only proves this to be true. People fear losing their jobs, being attacked, & being looked at as something they're not simply for acknowledging fact &/or doing research. Totalitarian groups have no place in democratic societies.

Shame on you Brown

Universities have no right to point a finger at the ignorance of evolution deniers. Feminist women studies are nothing but invented lies and they openly seek to destroy anyone that may say their Queen has no clothes. It is sick adults feeding the child gender dysphoria bandwagon. An honest study is hardly needed for common sense, but in our academic elitist world common sense means nothing. Only highly credentialed and politically correct certified Cow Tao experts peer reviewed in the most Fake News feminazi publications that adhere to acceptable group speak under threat of personal and career destruction to dare refute progressive group think propaganda may even think about asking permission to express a self sensored opinion that must fit the political views of the power elite willing to use all means available to silence dissenting rational minds may dare to hope to pretend that a real (fake) investigation into the false truth of kids suddenly acting like kids need to be taken supper not so seriously to the point of drugs and surgery give a real distorted opinion. Do I need say more?

Unbiased and ethical research is badly needed. Littman’s study is the first drop in the ocean.

People have the right to freedom of speech in this country, freedom of how they parent, as well as to have a good education based on actual science, and not feelings. Disagreeing w/ something that highly subjective, and goes against science is not phobia. It's called being logical, and I resent the cultish mentality of trans ideology that says u must agree 100% w/ propaganda or you're a transphobe. It's bs. Being an effeminate male or a masculine female does not make one trans, nor does feeeeeeling like you have the body of another make it so. You even got other kin now thanks to this illogical ideology where feelings matter over facts. Bring science back to the schools and stop brainwashing the children w/ this crazy bs!!!!

As a Brown graduate I am ashamed that Brown is caving to pressure from activists to silence Dr. Littman and research in to the explosion of trans-identifying children.

Freedom to pursuit difficult subjects without mob harassment is the greatest obstacle.

Thank you Dr Littman for putting forth a much needed medical community study on this new phenomena. The extreme rise in these cases cannot be cited to "nature". How come when people review the huge spike in the earth's carbon monxide levels it's okay to point to forces outside of the natural earth pattern but when it comes to the same huge spike in the immature teenage brain and transgenderism, it's "nature at work"? Brown University, shame shame on you for caving in to public pressure and pulling down the study. We now sadly live in a society where an opposite opinion or study is bullied out of existence by others who do not share the same opinion. Brown, stand your ground and repost the results. When someone gets a cancer diagnosis from their doctor should they get to bully the doctor into "pulling down" the test results or saying the results are flawed? Common sense says no. Courage to you Dr Littman.

There is criticism over excluding the youth in the study but many are re-writing their own histories to say they always felt this way which would skew the data. Lisa found in her study that many of the youth are autistic. Natal autistic females are highly malleable with histories of not being able to fit in. The lgbtq community offers instant acceptance which is very appealing to those formerly left out and everyone needs a sense of belonging. Also important is that youth with ASD are 4-6 years behind chronological age despite vocabulary and therefore might desist later than other youth. Trans activists are radical and purposefully ignore important facts for this subset of the population. It’s shameful that respectful conversation, fact finding, and research can no longer be done. Do no harm has gone by the wayside in favour of appeasing activists even though opposing findings are in the best interest of the youth. Universities are certainly not what they used to be.

Why are we still here just to suffer. Jokes aside we need freedom.

People believe what they want to believe, despite the research revealing truth.

It is the duty of true academic institutions not to censor important qualified research even if it is challenged by special interest groups or commercial interests. Shame on you!

Pseudoscience is inimical to our culture.
