Gender non-conforming people, whether they identify as trans or not, are fully deserving of human rights, dignity, and access to the best medical information and treatment available. Brown University's quashing of Dr. Littman's ROGD study adversely affects them most of all.

Alarmed at the rate sexual deviants are jumping on the bandwagon. Biological women need protection from these deviants whom will do anything to invade their 'safest' spaces. However I have sympathies for true sufferers of gender disphoria

My support of this research runs deep on a personal level. I am not a parent, but I am a 30 year survivor of GD...
... and thriving as a Non-Binary identifying member of the LGBTQ community.

Scientific findings are ment to be shared, despite the fact some people dislike the results. How many are being damaged because of bieses when sharing.? Sure we have a long way to go on tolerance and respect, but Scientific findings should be revealed.

Please stop this nonsense that's harming our children. Their right is to have access to a better and professional diagnostic.

Since when is research a bad thing? The more we know, the better equipped we are to help transgender youth in a meaningful way.

My daughter announced that she was a boy on October 30 2019, after taking a buzzfeed quiz Am I trans?, on October 26, 2019. When she announced it, none of her friends knew, and then once she told them, instant acceptance. Prior to this there was NOTHING to indicate that she didnt feel comfortable as girl. Yet in her immediate friend group, there are now 2 trans kids, 1 who's neither a girl or a boy, and a pansexual witch.- and she mainly hangs with these 3 kids. I am also horrified at how fast all of the psychiatrists and therapists, without even talking to either of us about underlying issues, have recommended 'he" come in to start the transitioning process, over the phone while I was trying to schedule an appointment.

The rise in trans ideology is not scientifically based.

Please, please, please. I beg you to continue with this very important research. As parents of an adolescent with ROGD, we feel completely helpless. Our son came out just a few months after he started attending Georgia Tech. He was immediately placed on hormones (which incidentally are not FDA approved) without a proper psychological evaluation. After just one year on these hormones, we can see the devastating emotional effects on our child. No parent should ever have to endure this heartbreak! DO NOT CAVE TO THE PRESSURE!!!

My daughter was feminine until the diagnosis of asd aged 16 upset her greatly. She refused to acknowledge autism as a possible cause of her social discomfort. After meeting another girl same age on same medication (sertraline) identifying as male she announced she was a male trapped in a female body. She latched onto the popular trans cult.

As a parent of a 22yr old male with a family history of bipolar disorder and depression that has ROGD, I support more unbiased investigation into this phenomena and proper health care rather than immediate affirmation without investigation of prior problems.

I am in support of lGTB rights and trans rights however I am mostly concerned about my daughters health and how the internet fosters her thinking on this matter. I also don't feel the mental health community approaches this issue in a responsible manner caving to social influences rather than taking the physiological risk in to consideration first. Mental health issues should be identified and treated before allowing a gender dysphoric diagnosis to be treated. Any attempt to suppress information that is contrary to popular culture is criminal. They only protect the proclamation of a teen without a fully developed brain, at the spike of developmental hormones in their human bodies because it is unpopular not to. Why doesn't this make sense to them? We were all adolescent females once that hated the rapid growth of breasts and the start of our periods but we didn't think we were boys in female bodies. We didn't have the internet or anyway to share this idea . I don't understand how the professionals can take this stand over basic human physiology. I only hope to protect my child from irreversible complications. I don't make excuses for my feelings or beliefs based on my 30 years as a health professional with a psychology foundation of education. If I observed consistencies in her gender proclamation I would be more inclined to believe her. However I see her mostly with female tendencies with the modified behaviors that bring social capital. Im also tired of being judged, and afraid to express my feelings or thoughts.

I wish to put safety and LGBTQ health in front of any type of social agenda. These are children who are at vulnerable ages in the first generation of young teens with internet access. Circumstances here are novel and new.
