I told my story on the ROGD website. Transgenderism is a fashionable trend that is highly destructive. We need to stop this insanity.

Suppressing this type of research will make it impossible for us to have a clear understanding of this phenomenon. It is in the university's best interest to support such lines of inquiry - if there is ANY chance that ROGD is real, then lives certainly are at stake and we need to better research and understand what's happening. Stop suppressing inquiry. If you want to scrutinize methodology, extend that same level of analysis to the flawed studies that activists often use to justify the transitioning of young children....

My son (socially awkward, lonely and bullied at school) identified as trans at 16 to our complete surprise. It is vital to find out why so many young people suddenly feel they are transgender.

More research and education of the topic of rapid onset gender dysphoria is overdue. Really struggle with how it has taken this long to be published.

Freedom of speech, freedom to express opinion or fact is essential to a culture of innovation. Anything else is fascism.

I fear the only way we can learn as a society is through experience and history. Data should be more effective at determining policy and practice but I understand the empathy to give what is wanted by those that are vulnerable.

Do medical professionals want science? Or do they want ideology? Shutting down this study has the result of promoting only one of these goals.

As a trained social worker and mental health advocate, I support open minded research and scientific inquiry. Research studies must not be censored!

Suppressing this research is disgraceful and downright scary. It could lead to a lot of damaged lives down the road, and its censoring due to aggression by a social media mob sets a foreboding precedent.

This phenomenon needs greater investigation and understanding, not dismissal or attack.

Suppressing vital research that might help girls and young women is appalling.

Disappointing and disturbing response from Brown to a legitimate and necessary academic study. Stand up to the bullies!

You cannot, must not, suppress investigation of important matters. Would you have denied Darwin in his day? Shameful.

The left claims science deniers are evil...unless of course the science being denied runs afoul of leftist orthodoxy...then feel free to carry on with your denials.

Shutting down the discussion around transitioning in order to support, unquestioned, one side is medically and psychologically reckless.
