We need to understand more about this issue. We can't ignore this because it's "politically incorrect".

This is an important topic and must be researched. Alone on reddit/detrans are now over 38000 detransioner who are overlooked by medical institutions

I am a Brown Alumnus. I am very disappointed that Brown U would suppress medical research into possible harms associated with transition. Medical research helps all communities- thousands of detransitioners have been harmed through medical care. As doctors, you should know that examination of harms from treatment are critical to improving care for all.

Signing as a progressive, Democrat voting parent who supports gay marriage but not butchering up healthy children's bodies.

We should not take social pressure as a means to limit scientific investigation and research for political and social gain

Yes gender dysphoria is "socially contagious." This is obvious when it’s being pushed on our youth as something “normal”. A respected trans research doctor, Ray Blanchards, essay got taken down by twitter, about the possible relations among anime, gender dysphoria, and autogynephilia. He was silenced as well. This has got to STOP! Do not silent brilliant minds who are trying to HELP our youth.

ROGD has reached almost every corner of the globe, including my extended family and my kids' school. This issue needs more evidence-based scientific research like Dr Littman's, not less.

This is a courageous researcher daring to ask important questions impacting young women. She should be supported, not ostracized by liberal elite who are promoting an agenda, not science

Stand firm in supporting science over ideology. Science is how we make societal progress; ideology helps a select group of people advance their specific interests.

ROGD is real and is happening to so many children and teens. I am a mental health expert and in the past 10 years the number of youth that identify as trans has exploded exponentially. Our children need better care and we as professionals need to do better than just affirmation. We should be studying this and how to work with these youth instead of colluding with them and a medical system gone mad.

I am part of the LGBTQ+ community and support trans rights, but this is a health issue that needs to be investigated and addressed. I would like to see that those in the scientific community do their due diligence in investigating this issue so that we can prevent further harm to those in pain/ looking for answers and to also protect those who are genuinely gender disphoric. The least the medical and academic communities can do is insist on proper research on this subject, as well as proper mental health services being provided/ mandatory to support young trans people prior to medical interventions that might cause harm.

I work in pediatric behavioral health. The influx in this exact study is being seen in the inpatient setting.
