Hello, please reconsider letting us have online lectures- it is working well! It is the safer option. We can be in person for clinicals, labs, etc.

Covid is on the ride again! It is not safe to go back now, and it will difficult to transition from in person back to online if we are ordered to do so. We should just start off as online and stick with it.

We can’t keep having classes switching from online to in person and back again. Especially with the schedules provided most people are speeding home/to school to make it in time from class due to the fault of scheduling. Keeping everything consistently online; with exception to clinical rotations would make a world a difference.

As someone who lives an hour away from school, staying online for lectures would be a big help and saves me the physical & financial stress of getting to school. It saves money on gas, I am able to rewatch lectures over and over in the own comfort of my home which helps me to retain information where as for in person lecture, I only hear it once. Furthermore, the time that I spend driving can be used for studying and doing homework.

My question is- why does Brookline want to send us back in person? What is the benefit? There are far more benefits to being online.

I believe both students and professors would prefer to stay online for didactics.

Covid is not over. There are new strains developing. I do not feel safe being back for didactics.

I do not see any benefit to being back on campus for didactic courses. Covid has taught us that many jobs, classes, etc CAN be done from home. Our format has been working well, and we are getting hands on experience during labs and clinicals, so there is no need to be back in person for didactics. Thank you.

I still have concerns due to the continued threat of covid and the variant. I also find it beneficial to review recorded content. Being in a lecture for 4 hours in-person and potentially a 8+ hr school day without the campus having adequate resources for proper nutrition and ample space for private studying and self reflect areas does not make it an ideal place to spend an entire day. The Phoenix campus is highly lacking any resemblance of a proper college campus that can accomodate the staff or students for full-time in person.

I find being in this remote online setting allows us students to be more attentive to class & complete more assignments, .

In case brookline forgot, we are still very well in the middle of this pandemic with new variants popping up. You really want to risk the health of students and faculty just to have in person lectures, when they literally have no advantages over having them online? I beg y’all to think critically about this

having to drive an hour each way to school, by having lecture on campus I am now losing HOURS a week that could be spent studying rather than driving back and forth.

Having the option to rewatch lecture is very beneficial for many. Not having to drive to campus for didactic saves students and faculty the time and gas it would take to drive to campus.

I prefer online lectures because they are recorded and I can always go back and view them.
