The restaurant is a real asset, providing practical experience to students and good food in a lovely atmosphere to locals. It would be a real shame to lose this unique place. Please reconsider this decision.

We often go there for lunch from work; the food is always excellent & it would be disappointing if it were to close.

The restaurant is a real local asset as well as a training ground for students. It would be a great loss if it closed.

As a former employee at Brookes, I have been dining at the restaurant since it opened many years ago. It provides a unique eating experience that the University should treasure. I find it difficult to comprehend why anyone could consider its closure to be a smart idea.
My wife (an alumni) and I recently chose Brookes as the location to entertain our new German in-laws when they made their first visit to Oxford since graduating from St. John's College 40 years ago. They were thrilled at what has become of the Old Polytechnic. Its time Brookes University made more of this splendid place. Its a gem.

The restaurant gave me such a great insight into the industry when I was a young student. Today I own and run a successful restaurant chain in Europe, thanks to all the experience and teaching at this marvelous university restaurant and school.

It is a fantantastic restaurant excellent value. Varied menu, it is local, well run. My only criticism is that one has to book well in advance to reserve a place.. Why is it closing?

Marketing, a subject to be taught alongside cooking and service, should ensure the Brookes restaurant reflects the university’s success and encourage new students to make it there first choice ...... think of the quedos

Doesn’t make sense to remove something that provides so much to our future workforce. Items learned in the restaurant can’t be taught in a classroom no matter how hard you try.

I cannot believe this could possibly happen. This is a restaurant you take people to impress them, whether they are family members of visiting professors.
