Important and excellent facility in the university, and in Headington. Closure would be a major blow to the course and to the area.

All colleges with functional restaurant is a vital resource to assist all future employees of our magnificent but demanding industry get a head start on what to experience/ expect ! I would support all colleges saving this resource for the benefit of our industry!!

This would be a great pity as it is a superb restaurant & provides the ideal opportunity for the students to gain the experience they need. It needs better advertising. Very few people know about it.

Nooo! Don't close the restaurant - the one place we can go for excellent beautifully cooked food & the events are wonderful - especially the wine tasting! I also have a voucher I haven't spent! Why close it ? It is also brilliant for the community.

Important aspect of the university and a great example of on the job training with real feedback but no doubt it is about money and no doubt a new building Please ensure a restaurant remains now or indeed as part of any New planning proposals

Will be a great shame if it closes but I expect OBU probably want to demolish the whole area and replace it with something else ! ! after all most of the old Brooke’s/Poly has been demolished and replaced!

I have dined at this superb restaurant on many occasions. It offers students an exceptional learning experience and Is globally renowned. The closure of Brookes Restaurant would be a significant loss to the university and the local community.

Closing it would be a huge loss - it's one of the best places to eat in the Oxfordshire area.

I am writing as a former Senior Lecturer at OBU, to beg the OBU Management team to reconsider possible closure of the restaurant. This restaurant is a key feature, a jewel in the crown for the School of hospitality and catering. Why on earth would anyone want to close it down? Make more of it if anything! use it to provide access and outreach courses for secondary pupils, refugees, homeless...there are ALL SORTS of ways to capitalise on the excellent facilities even more effectively. Surely 'outreach' is important for the future of OBU and the track record of this particular outreach into the community is well worth keeping?

The Restaurant has been one of the shining lights of the University for many years - a genuine USP. It is a brilliant teaching resource as well as a great venue for public 'outreach' taking the University's skillset to the outside world. Closing the Restaurant would be an act of vandalism.

The restaurant is, for many people, their only direct contact with Brookes and the basis on which they’ve decided that Brookes is an institution offering provision of very high quality. Closing the restaurant would be a loss to people who love good food and a big blot on Brookes’ reputation.
