Such a very great shame it’s a wonderful place to have in our area. Excellent food and service- very innovative enterprise

It would be a great shame, as it is a pleasure to go there, especially for a small party. Is the catering department being reduced, or axed?

Please, please don't close the restaurant. The food and service are excellent and good value for money too. We have an annual lunch there for 45/50 members of the Oxford Centre of the National Trust which is always a great success and easy for everyone to get to by public transport.

A wonderful place to eat, that allows hospitality students the chance to express themselves and showcase local produce. To see it close would be nothing short of criminal.

Perhaps this is a PR issue. I had never come acros the restaurant before (rarely look at Tripadvisor, too much popup spam) despite living in Oxford, but now I'm keen to go.

The restaurant supports the aims of the Oxford School of Hospitality Management to deliver world class hospitality education and it's closure would be a loss to the students, the University and the industry

The Brookes restaurant is such an asset to both the University and the community it would be a real shame if it was lost before other all other options were exhausted. If it must break even, try improving the restaurant and cookery school's marketing as it isn't well known outside of the local area. Is marketing part of the hospitality course? If not then get the business school involved. Ultimately, Brookes may just need to realise that some things are worth keeping, even if they don't make money. Hopefully they realise before it's too late.

I work at the Churchill Hospital and this restaurant is a breath of fresh air and a favorite of ours for any events, new starters, staff leaving, Christmas, birthdays or just a monthly get together. Close to work so we can grab a tasty lunch and get back. It is a shame to close such a brilliant venue, where we can eat delicious meals for a reasonable price. There is nothing similar in headington area, which is full of cafes or fast food places, so all you can get for lunch are sandwiches.

I learned my trade in this restaurant and now run a successful International hospitality business. Please don't deny others the chance to benefit from this wonderful establishment.

The restraint is a great space for our team to meet and have lunch together and it would be a great loss if it was closed. The food is great, the service excellent, and it is fantastic that it helps train the next generation of chefs and hospitality staff. Keep Brookes Open!
