Against the Permanent Closure of Brookes Restaurant

This would be a terrible loss to students, staff, alumni and visiting public. Whoever is making this decision is not acting with 'student experience' as the main priority. It would be very sad to see something that so many have worked so tirelessly to create be destroyed.

An 'external engagement' success, beyond profit margins.

I attended Oxford Brookes back when it was OxPoly and had friends on this degree program. The restaurant was fabulous way for them to learn and hone their skills AND the food was fantastic. I can't believe the University would be SO utterly short-sighted!

This is a fantastic training resource for the students and would be a great loss to their studies and to the prestige of the Hospitality course; it's a great place to enjoy good food at a very reasonable price.

The closure of Brookes Restaurant will see the end of the University's best - and a world-renowned - course as students will cease to flock here to study hospitality management. This is short-sighted money-saving and would be an insult to the countless students and staff who have given their all to this place.

It would be a great shame to shut this fantastic restaurant. Where else can you taste food like it?

Best place in Oxford to eat, my wife and I dine regularly. Would be great Shame to lose it,also good to speak to students about their ambitions in hospitality industry .A very big loss to Oxford and Brookes if it closes

We visit Brookes while we wait for results from the Churchill Hospital. The food and service is excellent.

We need places like this to grow and nurture the next generation of people dedicated to hospitality
