The restaurant is an essential element of the world ranked international hospitality and management degree offered at Oxford Brookes.

Please reconsider - this is a great resource for Brookes and the local community. We've had great meals here and the Junior cookery school my children have attended is fantastic.

This is one of the best restaurants in Oxford and an amazing opportunity for the students that work there.

We’ve enjoyed numerous meals at Brookes and felt that we were contributing to the students training. A travesty if it closes.

This is a wonderful facility both as training for students and as a first rate restaurant enjoyed by the wider community. It will be a real loss.

It would be a disaster for the Brookes international hospitality degree to lose this superlative restaurant staffed by the students. They gain invaluable front and back of house experience under the watchful eyes of their mentors. And this will be lost and the degree degraded. It is said that he restaurant is losing a huge amount of money, but no one appears to where this loss is attributed, and is surprising as the labour costs must be minimal as the students work back and front of house. It is an invaluable asset and the university senior staff who are closing it are making a very great and short sighted mistake.

I didn't know this existed, but it's vital life experience for the students. Keep it open!

Such a valuable facility for the hospitality students and community. Like so many others, I hugely benefited from the opportunities and training that the restaurant provided. The loss of it is very concerning for future hospitality students and all the staff involved.

How can an important part of the Hospitality Management course be shut down by the University? Will the the science laboratories be the next to go?
