The chariots were at the fair for almost 40yrs and the chuckwagons for more than 20yrs with no warning at all, your gone, you would think after that amount of time someone could have let us know where we stood. I guess when your not "cut from the correct cloth" you get to just take it. Well when statement like that is made about a group who has a strong minority membership that raises the question what do the really mean
The Norfolk County Fair Board needs to know that we are all just the same as them that this is something people love to see and they need to know that the racisum B.S they pulled is wrong!
I am still waiting for an actual explanation from the board because their silence feels louder every single day. People keep messaging me with their own stories about being pushed aside by the fair and it just proves that this goes way deeper than just the races being gone.

I really never expected this much movement when I hit publish but seeing this pile up makes me feel like maybe they actually have to listen now. It is honestly wild how many people are reaching out to tell me they miss the racing because it feels like someone just ripped a huge chunk of history away without even asking us. Honestly I am just stunned that so many of you care enough to keep this rolling because it felt like a losing battle at the start.
