Spartanburg Regional has removed all Bibles from the patient rooms. This petition was created to fight this decision not just at Spartanburg Regional, but any place where the Bible was and has since been removed.
Please sign this petition to support the cause of having the Bibles placed back in all patient rooms within the Spartanburg Regional hospital, so that those who need a Bible have one. If you know of any other place that used to have a Bible, but no longer does...we will be glad to contact them to see what we can do together to get those Bibles back!

I have been reading your messages about how much these books meant to you during difficult times in the hospital. It really is humbling to hear these stories and I feel like I am just holding the pen while you all provide the heart for this movement.

I am honestly overwhelmed by how many people reached out to share their stories after this gained momentum. It is clear that this desire to bring these books back belongs to all of you because I never imagined so many would feel the same way.

RIDICULOUS! Stop bending over backwards to be politically correct and just do the right thing.
This is just sad. People need comfort when they are in the hospital and Gods word is the best comfort there is. Put them back.
If someone doesnt want to read it they can just leave it in the drawer. Simple as that. Bring them back.
Hospital stays are scary enough. Taking away the bible is just mean spirited.
Unbelievable. This is the south. We should be keeping our traditions not throwing them away.

My mom was in there last month and she really missed having one. It brought her peace before. Why change it now??
