Dear Loop (or is it "Dear THE Loop"): The people of Jacksonville have been proud to support your "upscale fast food restaurants" since 1981. Today, your pizza grill empire encompasses 20 locations in three states, and we'd like to think that we Jacksonvillians had something to do with it. That being said, we feel we are entitled to make suggestions to you about how you can improve our (we mean, your) company. And at this time, we'd like to bring up the matter of thick crust pizza. It has been brought to our attention that the company has removed thick crust pizza from the menus at the Avondale and Orange Park locations. Big mistake. Huge. For one thing, The Loop concept was based on Chicago-style pizza. Last time we checked, Chicago-style pizza is thick. How can you call yourselves "The Loop" when you don't even have thick-crust pizza If that's what you want to do, you might as well change your name to the Florida Pizza Kitchen. Second, we love your pizza, especially the thick crust pizza. Sure, we could go to one of the other locations to get it, but that isn't always convenient. Why discriminate against the residents of Avondale and Orange Park "All for one and one for all, " we say. Suffice it to say, we want the thick crust pizza back in Avondale and Orange Park. Don't MAKE us go to Pizza Hut.
