As a former employee Ray taught me the values of leadership and ensuring everyone feels welcome. I don't know the details but this is a man who knows it is not all about the money but rather the power of building community, and teaching one the values of family, fitness, and health. He truly embodied the phrase "As Iron Sharpens Iron So Must One Man Sharpen Another"

member since 2005 and have never seen a more hands on, service oriented GM than Ray. He changed the culture with his passion about fitness and service, internal and external.

From the moment we joined the gym, Ray impressed me with his friendly demeanor and willingness to keep the gym clean and members happy. I would love to see him back!

Being a member of Lifetime since 1999 there has not been a GM as great as Ray. The club improved greatly since he took over. Always coming around and greeting members by name. Walking around in his suit checking on machines and picking up towels and garbage on the floor. Just great positive energy for the club and always asking if there was anything he could do to improve the club.

Ray has been the most amazing leader, friend, and teacher I have ever had. I would not be working for lifetime if it wasn't for him. And I happen to be one of the top trainers in the club and I attribute that to my desire to not let that man down. Lifetime executives should be ashamed of themselves! That man picks up trash outside, wipes down equipment, talks with and shakes hands with every member he can, comes in 7 days a week, and after all the good he has done lifetime treats him like the very garbage he picks up. Bring him back!! NOW!!

I had seen Ray pulling into the parking lot stop his car and walk between two parked vehicles to pick up trash. What a loss to LTF.

Ray was the best GM we have ever had! Always attentive, always friendly, always positive. He always said "Work? What's work? I have never "worked" a day in my life". He LOVED his work!! I hope this matter gets resolved and we can welcome him back with open arms!!

I always saw him go above and beyond.
I once saw him stop his car, get out and pick up a piece of trash in the parking lot. No joke.

Couldn't have said it any better myself. Read your mission statement again LTF. Ray was executing that more visibly than any other manager I have seen during my 11+ years as a member. #LTFReadItAgain
