Common everybody can make mistake. Give him a chance to explain himself on CBC. At last he didn't used public many like members of government or senate. We want him back!

Those who can afford it, buy art due to art appreciation and investment. It is beyond belief that CBC could think this compromised Evan Soloman's political reporting in any way. Just because his face is well known does not mean he is shackled to commercial ventures only related to CBC. That would be referred to as slavery.

punishmentdoesnot fit the offense. Letter of reprimand and the apology from Evan should suffice or fire Amanda Lang as well!

Solomon would not let Harper's cabinet members using his show without properly answering his questions. A good journalist

A suspension would have been adequate. Evan Solomon's skills are needed, especially now, and in any case, although I understand he was in conflict, firing was unduly harsh. Surely there was a more elegant solution.

CBC needs to take out the garbage, as in the garbage on the Board of Directors. There was no need to fire Evan Solomon when CBC has three high profile personalities that committed far more egregious . Get rid of the Board, Mansbridge, Lang and Murphy.

The only reason i watched CBC is to watch Evan on power and politics! this is completely unfair. a suspension, maybe! getting fired. no way!

I too, ask the CBC to reconsider its decision to ends its relationship with Solomon. In this time of political strife in Canada we need Evan, so we ask: bring back Evan.

Best anchor and journalist at the CBC, by far, and the show he created, PnP, is one of the few CBC shows I watch daily.
Firing Evan was unnecessary and unwarranted. Something else is afoot.
