We watched PNP every single day. We cannot stand Rosie's arrogance. Bring back Evan or PNP is off our agenda.

power and politics with Evan Solomon is the only balanced show on TV for viewers who appreciate good reporting delivered with his easy style. Very classy young man worth much more than CBC (now).

I thought Evan was fair and nonpartisan on his show. His private business is his own. NO tax dollars spent.

If you fired Evan Solomon for moonlighting then Amanda Lang, Rex Murphy and Peter Mansbridge should be fired too.

Total rush to judgement. Could have suspended him and let the dust settle. In the end, firing is excessive and serves no one. He was valued voice on the CBC.

It's becoming more and more evident that CBC management's decisions are not based on fairness, logic or truth, but rather favoritism and scapegoatism. Shame on you CBC! Grow up. Wise up. See that we are not fooled; just read the online comments on the CBC news stories involving Evan. Your audience isn't stupid; it's smarter than you and it's furious and ready to abandon your brand.

After the Amanda Lang fiasco even allowing her to intimidate a fellow journalist to further her own career. And she remains. Come on you were told to dump Evan by we know who.

I can't see where he did anything wrong. CBC is nothing without him. He was the best thing that ever happened to CBC. I will not be watching CBC anymore. Here I come CTV.

I don't agree with him all the time but he has more integrity then the rest of the CBC, a sad day for Canada.

We live in strange times where a politics journo is fired for having an art brokership in his private life. Where is the conflict CBC? That show was my CBC fix of the day. Who is going to replace him - Ezra Levant? Now I boycott CBC altogether if Evan is not reinstated..

The firing of Evan Solomon during an election year is pure partisan politics. This is a disgrace that doesn't pass the smell test . This just reeks of gerrymandering in the most petty and fascist way.....this sounds all to familiar to most Canadians ...so im sure i dont think i neeed to say who' hand was in this...it's obvious.....

There is no earthly justification for penalizing someone for having an art dealing sideline. Especially when this was disclosed to the employer. Bring Evan back!
