Birmingham needs ride sharing apps to help provide safe ride options in this city and promote further growth and development of the downtown area. The cab service here is nothing short of a joke. I have spent a couple hundred dollars on Lyft and uber in Nashville just visiting over the last few months, and I would much prefer to be spending money on services like that in my home city.

We are 4-year Birmingham residents, world travelers, and the Birmingham cab service is the most unreliable, tardy, and least likely to meet our needs as we've experienced. Allow Uber to compete.

For a city that keeps saying we are growing and want to be the best in the future, we sure are doing a good job at stopping things that are transformational for cities. We need more of the younger generation in power to make this city grow and move forward. Change can be good sometimes! Let's become a city where people choose to move to!
