Birmingham MUST have UBER and or LYFT....My company just added a corporate account for UBER. It IS the way to go and a must for a progressive city, such as Birmingham.

I have used Uber in New York and L.A and I have had only great experiences with it. The drivers are friendly and have gone through background checks. Birmingham needs a transit system that is safe, clean and also affordable...we have none of that now. For this city to continue to grow and attract travelers we need to bring Uber to this city.

Uber and Lyft are vital for the safety of the citizens of our city. Current public transportation is almost nonexistent. How are we supposed to continue to revitalize Birmingham, support the expansion of restaurants, bars, and nightlife if we are not going to provide a safe way for everyone to get home?

I use Uber all over the country and it is safe and efficient. Additionally, the lack of taxi service in Birmingham and the state of cabs and their drivers is absolutely embarrassing!!!
