Uber is safer, cleaner and cheaper. To compare, my friend left her cell phone in a yellow cab and never saw it again. Another left her keys in an uber and had them delivered by the Uber Driver the next day.

I can go to nearly every "mid market' city in the US and get a ride with Uber no problem. I travel extensively and cant get a cab from my house to the airport much less anywhere else in this city. Its ridiculous! Stop resisting the change and do something positive. Uber was needed when they opened their doors and were able to prove to the largest cities in the world that it works!

It is backwards and ridiculous to not have these services in Birmingham. Our cab service is an embarrassment to any business travelers and it is time for this to change.
