Turriff is in a large central area to support a minor injuries unit instead of having to travel to Aberdeen ARI.

My husband got some sand in his eye and it took 3 days to get it sorted because there's no local minor injury clinic. This is needed.

It is unacceptable my wife had to wait three hours lying on the Fife Arms floor for Ambulance cover

After waiting 3 hours for an ambulance for my mum who had collapsed and could not be moved the need for the review of all services is hugely important

We have needed to use the minor injury unit several times over the last 10 years and it's always busy when I have been there.

Reopening the MIU is one thing but the A&E facility at Turriff should never have been closed. We need 24 hour cover for any medical issues. Even before it shut the gdoc could sometimes be hours away from Turriff leaving us with no doctor cover.

We can't choose when convenient to be taken ill. With inclement weather and waiting for ambulances from afar, a worry we don't need when facilities already on our doorstep and should be open24/7.

We need this facility here, not in Aberdeen especially if you don't have a car.

No need to travel miles when Turriff is equipped to deal with minor injuries. The Community has donated generously supporting Friends of Turriff Hospital (I think it would be splitting hairs to claim MIU & hospital are not interchangeable). Let us get the benefit of our donations.
