For so many folk to get help is either... Not able to get an appointment to see a doctor, a very long wait for an ambulance or a journey of 45 minutes to Elgin or an hour to Aberdeen. Just being able to get some help locally out of hours is essential.

This facility is required for a town the size of Turriff, but when you take it the satellites villages around Turriff it’s even more important

We have no ambulance service either, give us something for our taxes.
Not everyone has a car to be able to travel to Banff/huntly/Aberdeen

This was a unique unit that performed a great service to the community, problem is there is no staff left that want to or can handle looking after a ward of OAP’s and an A&E, regardless if you want to keep it open there is no qualified staff willing to take this on.
