Who doesn't love Trader Joe's? Wouldn't it be wonderful to have one closer to our neighborhood and surrounding neighborhoods? As many people know, building the East Gateway Urban Village is planned for the 52 acres south of 132nd between 35th Avenue SE and Seattle Hill Road. Thisdevelopment will includea combination of residential, retail and office spaces. It is rumored that Target will be the anchor retail store and other businesses will surround it. A Trader Joe's in this area would be perfect! Everyone that I talk to agrees. I emailed the company but feel that my request will be lost with many others, so I decided to start a petition. If you would like to join me in my pursuit, please sign my petition, comment if appropriate,and I will forward it on to Trader Joes.
