Every time I wear the shirt in public, people ask me about it. Free advertising, don't shoot yourself in the foot.

Can't tell you how many people I have talked to about TM after they approached me while wearing my finishers shirt. Best form of advertising!!!

I've made so many friends, and encouraged so many people to sign up for a TM, all because of wearing my shirt.

Taking away the finisher shirts is a poor marketing decision, and poor way to cut costs. If you need to cut costs, keep the legionnaire list up to date and monitor how many legionnaire headbands people take. I love the obstacle improvements and additions, but not giving out finisher shirts when even the smallest, local 5k does, is going to turn people off and away.

Glad there are obstacle improvements but you will turn more people away than you will gain by not givng away shirts. If you need to save money police how many Legionnaire headbands are given out. People get repeats of the same colors ALL the time in part because they don't know they shouldn't, and volunteers aren't instructed to not give them out to people that already have them.

removing finishers shirts is complete and utter BS! I've done races for years and have never done a race and not received a shirt. Even $20 races!!! Total BS. I can guarantee that the Mudder Nation is more concerned about the bragging rights of the shirt than a headband.

I could care less about the beer or the headband. I do it for the t-shirt. Seriously. It's a bad marketing plan to get rid of the t-shirt. I wear the t-shirt, people see it, and ask me about it. I talk to them. They sign up for a TM event. It's that simple. Bring back the t-shirt. The best idea would be to put the year on it. That way we could have one for every year. Otherwise, I'll just become a spartan. They have t-shirts.

for the amount of money we spend to participate, we should still have a t shirt. This organization is making a successful profit from TM, this action shows that they are cheap and becoming more interested in making a profit than what they originally represented.

Gutted that I won't receive a 2015 finishers shirt this year like many people have said before it's the best form of free advertising.
