Each year I've done more events along with being a volunteer at these events. However, I will only be doing one single event & have no plans to make it a double.

I agree Headbands are THE status symbol to/at/from Tough Mudder weekends but the shirt I can wear all the time when I' out at weekends and training etc to show how proud I am to fly the flag.

i love my finisher t shirt, its more easily worn than the headband, i would feel less inclined to sign up again without the shirt

Had to share this. So I am on vacation with my wife in Marina Del Ray in California (I am from Wisconsin) . I am wearing my TOUGH MUDDER shirt. We are walking down the street, and a guy at a stop sign tells out...HEY TOUGH MUDDER, and shows me his MUDDER headband.... Mudder Nation Unite....HOORAH!

For what you cheap@sses charge the LEAST you could do is continue to pass out shirts at the end.

If every local 5K I run can provide a t-shirt, there's no reason TM cannot do the same. There are sponsors for a reason, and with entry rivaling that of large marathons (who also provide shirts), it just doesn't make any sense.

I feel TM will realise their massive mistake when their races have much smaller numbers then the past. It's a ridiculous move as there are so many competitors out there. I'm just going to do different, far cheaper ones now!
