Don't let Helensburgh Pier go the same way as Craigendoran. The Waverley has been giving joy & bringing tourists & their income for years. Don't be so short sighted & stop killing this town.

Waverley has long been a huge attraction on the west coast and attracts many people for holidays and a sail on board especially in Helensburgh

I grew up right next door to Craigendoran Pier in 1960s with all the steamers coming and going. Don't let the same thing happen to Helensburgh Pier and keep the Waverley visiting Helensburgh.

Doesn’t make sense it isn’t. Saw it sailing up the Clyde last time I was home. Beautiful sight.

Years of neglect - even though operations continued at considerable risk to the public - have resulted in its current closure. It now needs a huge effort by both Council and the public to restore it to use.

A&B Council please Helensburgh's historic pier is in a danderous state of disrepair and if nothing is done then our iconic pier will be gone forever. Support Helensburgh as you do other towns.

It is beyond sad to see our lovely town's pier sliding into dereliction.
