So important to keep the pier open! Attracts those sailing to come ashore, not to mention the Waverly, where throngs come ashore to visit the town. The town needs those visitors for the independent businesses to survive!

Helensburgh would struggle without tourism. The pier is a vital part of this. Please repair it so that the Waverley can return.

This is a part of my childhood..... please do not destroy this memory for my God Daughters. Please do not destroy the memories that our parents and Grandparents taught us of "DOON THA WATER".
Please do not our heritage.

Our support is needed with good idea's wanted on how to create the £800k + needed to restore the pier, how about the money the MOD/RN gave the town which as far as I am concerned seems to have magocally disappeared?
