Youre so right John. To have had all that river traffic growing up and to lose the world famous Waverley is unacceptable.

Please repair the pier

The pier needs to be saved to allow the Waverley to come back, the tourism & income generated is essential to all the small independent businesses in the town

Being brought up in Greenock and now living in Helensburgh I remember coming over on the cal mac ferries for day trips in the summer. So I say save the pier the town needs to get back to those days when people visited .

Please fix the pier and bring the Waverley back to Helensburgh. It’s good for our town.

The Waverley is part of Helensburgh's heritage and must come back. I am a regular visitor to the area and have been on the Waverley, would love to be able to do them from there.

Absolutely disgusted by the lack of support from Argyll and Bute Council. About time they started listening to the people who live here.
