Please make this accessible and fair to everyone in the US not just the East Coast riders. This competition needs to rotate so all riders have a fair chance of attending without having to spend thousands of $$ to attend by having to travel across the country. For some competitors this is a once in a lifetime dream come true but always having it in Kentucky kills that dream for those who cannot afford to travel all the way across the country. We have amazing facilities here on the West Coast that can host this event and also Great Weather !!!

We have some of the Very Best in the entire U.S. here in the Southwest! Bring it to Del Mar!!! It's a great facility, with near perfect weather most of the year, and many other things to enjoy in the area when not showing.

I've actually researched data and compared the results for the last two years between the Horse of the Year results and the National Championship results and there's a VAST difference as a large majority of the Top 20 HOTY pairs in each category come from the West Half of the United States. We have wound up with National Champions in the lower half of the top 20 of HOTY or not even in the Top 20, and a disproportionate number of National Champions from regions 3, 4, and 8 while the entire rest of the country is disregarded.

I'm just starting my dressage career and would like to see it on the west coast.
I was on the National Swim Team and we had our national championships all over the country, not just in one venue.
Thanks for your consideration!
See you at nationals one day!

I was there at 2015 USDF convention. I think Region 6 & 7 presented very valid arguments for the USDF Finals to be hosted in West on alternate years. Rotating championships location would help promote Dressage throughout country.

I would love to have an opportunity to participate, which I would not be able to do if they are always in KY.

The USDF dressage finals are a joke. Region 7 represents most of the best riders we have and yet the finals are on the east coast. When we do show up, we don't send our best and we still kick the other regions butts. Let's make this real and start rotating

USDF in a national organization and as such needs to have the national competition rotated between regions. Disadvantaging those in regions other than the East and South is a disservice to the membership.

Having a rotating Dressage Finals will only grow our sport and garner more vendor interest and increase appeal to potential sponsors.

It's time to stand behind the original intention to have the Dressage Finals rotate to the West Coast. We can certainly provide a singular experience for riders coming west as well as a very competitive environment.
