I would love a tiny home. These are such a good idea for eco-friendly people and being friendly towards them in south bend/ St. Joseph county could very much bring in new people and more business for our economy!

Would make good housing for seniors. I have seen tiny houses with bedrooms on first floor.

Hello City your trying to put huge house on half lot sizes and your causing people to move to county so they can have larger lots if your not going to start redeveloping these city lots back to full instead of half at least start letting these small houses be put on these half lots, better to get some tax dollars then none

The world keeps changing and South Bend would do well to lead the way with this innovative idea!

Go tiny! My husband and I hope to build one some day. Let's make it legal.

Having suffered the same fate of being fined and forced to move my tiny house on wheels I now live in a steel storage building instead of my super insulated tiny house how is this better for me and the world?

Make a sustainable footprint in our own community thats what it's all about. It needs to start now and it needs to start at home

Other cities and communities such as Brainerd, MN and Madison, WI have leadership showing acceptance and support to those who choose to live the tiny house way. Considering housing square footage sizes in other countries and it becomes ludicrous that progressive America has not done more sooner.

This would be a great solution for housing on so many levels.

There is no good reason to not allow tiny homes.

I agree the codes must be changed to allow and to build these tiny homes.

Let's keep SB a great place to live... For all lifestyles and to allow use of space that is often overlooked or a burden to the city.
