Please do the right thing! A very similar case just took place, that was posted on FB, and the judge gave the dog back to the original owners. What do we teach our children when we act in a way that is so dishonest? Once Sophie's true owners were identified, she should have been immediately returned! This needs to be corrected. There are numerous shelter dogs the other family can adopt. How would they feel if this happened to them? The shelter rule also needs revised, to state if a dog is adopted out after the 3 day hold, and the original owners are identified, the dog must be returned! I pray you do the right thing here. Not only is the "world" watching, God is watching too!

Sophie is microchipped and licensed. WHY were the owners not contacted? Please right the wrong made by the Humane Society and RETURN SOPHIE TO THE MIZIKAR FAMILY.

Prayers for everyone. I can't even imagine what this family is going through. It would breal my heart if I lost my gsd. Our fogs are our babies and our world. Hopefully this baby will be reunited with their real family. And prayers to the family that adopted their baby not knowing.
